Michael Steiner, CLM, Principal
Michael Steiner was born in Brooklyn, New York. Attending the State University of New York at New Paltz, Michael moved to California where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Management, summa cum laude, from the University of Redlands and was inducted to the University's Whitehead Leadership Council.
Michael is a Certified Legal Manager (CLM)SM, and has served as the 2007-2008 Vendor Liaison for the Hawaii Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Michael also served as the 2005-2006 Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators and as the 2004-2005 Vendor Liaison Chairperson. In addition, Mr. Steiner served as a member of the 2008 Hawaii Regional Conference Planning Committee and been a member of the Cyber Chapter of the ALA, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the American Management Association. Michael has spoken for the Hawaii State Bar Association, Association of Legal Administrators, Legal Marketing Association, S.C.O.R.E. Hawaii, National Business Institute and has contributed articles to the Greater Los Angeles chapter's Leadership Exchange magazine.
On behalf of a client, Michael drafted and successfully guided several bills through the Hawaii State Legislature into law.
Michael moved to Hawaii in February of 2006, at the request of Carlsmith Ball LLP as their internal Executive Director, and opened Steiner & Associated in 2008. Michael volunteers with the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, Think-Tech Hawaii, Hawaii Venture Capital Association, PARENTS, Inc., Muscular Dystrophy Association of Hawaii and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Shilder College of Business, as part of the Annual University of Hawaii Business Plan Competition.
